As STAND continues to push President Bush to Lobby China, activists also need to be increasing the pressure on the 2008 Olympic Corporate Sponsors!
Starting this weekend, STAND activists will rally at Olympic Sponsor headquarters all over the country. The corporate sponsors of the 2008 Olympics in Beijing have the financial leverage to convey to China that in order to stop genocide in Darfur, the government must use its significant leverage to influence the Sudanese government. Corporate sponsors must use their influence to ask China to protect the people of Darfur before the Olympic games begin.

o McDonald's: Oakbrook, IL, on Saturday, 5/10, time TBD
o Visa: San Francisco, CA, on Friday, 5/16 at 4 pm
